ZZ Top Grand Rapids Concert reviews
Rocked the Rocks
Last night was so great, with ZZ Top at the Pepsi Center a few years ago while Maynard was sick getting quite a bad rating among fans. The sound was set up well, there was just great energy all around! The show was not as disappointing as before. He was present, healthy, and on top of things. There was also a Blood Moon rising to the South East during the first hour or so of the set. Since they made a two-day setup at Red Rocks, I think tonight will be a completely different show--but just as great! The set lasted about two hours in all. They opened with Third Eye, threw in Intolerance, The Patient, and a lot of the 'popular' songs. Hopefully, tonight will be the exact opposite ^_^ I feel that most of it is still a blur in my head.
